Acceptance Testing
Well – so far so good. Trials are in advanced stages, and so far the acceptance rate has been very good. OK, I’m hardly going to allow anyone to reject this um, development – even though Jamie insists on calling her Bebe Eeyore behind her back. Last night he was reenacting how he was “holding” her during the course of the afternoon, during which we held her hand to stop her crying. His sentence construction yields a lesson in brevity: “Dad Me Bebe Eeyore Stop!! Waahhh”
More grandparents and visitors today, so I’ll continue my professionally inspired observations and compile a report in the near future.
Footnote: I’m mildly troubled that having just drawn him a stick-figure-family, he’s taken the pen and edited (read deleted) the smallest figure. Hmmm.
Oh. Wait… it’s OK. He’s just drawn over (read completely obliterated) the two biggest ones too. No problems there then…

ha ha.
Alex’s problem was not with the new arrival per se, but rather with Dad holding the new arrival. The first cople of weeks were tricky. Having asked for hints and tips at the Clinic, they asked Nix how she would feel if I brought a new woman home. An interesting parallel.
The Sister then went on to say that one mother she had used this analogy with had replied, “As long as she helps out, I don’t bloody care!”

God is great … but then so are you two (sorry, three; sorry, four!)
Much love

Have no doubt that she will bring you much joy!

Dude, with Jamie thinking so laterally as to name Erin “Bebe Eeyore”, I think he should be inducted onto the Tangent creative team ASAP. His input will obviously be as invaluable and ground breaking as the gems he is currently producing….I like.

Awesome. A tangent comic about the extra-woman analogy. It almost draws itself!
