So what! It’s only a month!

Well. I’m obviously not the blogger that I thought I was. Thing is, I have these amazing revelations and moments of inspiration when I’m nowhere near the PC, and when the power is in my hands, I flounder. I go blank. I think… well why would they care anyway?

However I will persevere, and briefly summarise what’s been quite a baby-oriented month. Yeah. I can’t believe it’s a whole month since last post. Embarassing actually.

I went. I flew. I conquered. That’s probably the big, non-Jamie news. I hovered around, flew my aerobatics and then got paranoid about the sound of the motor and a certain “ticking” sound that I was hearing. Convinced it was running too hot, I fiddled and basically buggered up all my nice throttle and pitch curves, and now it’s not flying as well, but it’s running cooler. I also decided to bite the debt and buy proper carbon blades to replace the woodies I was using. I think the plastic was peeling off and making the sound. Since replacing the blades, I’ve flown twice in two weeks, and feel I’ve gotten back into the swing of it.

What else… well, my (purchased!!!) Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 arrived on Monday night. In a nutshell, this will lead to later nights, but more edited videos. A decent trade-off? Sure. So far it’s impressive, and I’m obviously a complexity freak because the more parameters there are, the happier I get. Ovidius (more on that…) and I have decided to institute a fortnightly cinema-premiere club to motivate great movies, so that should be fun.
